Well, 2020 has NOT kept us down! During this odd year, we have continued making progress at school, at work, at church and with each other. As a family we have enjoyed the opportunities to spend more time together. We have taken many trips to Newport Beach and enjoyed building our community there with new friends/experiences. Exploring different coves on a family kayak and combing the beach for sea glass each morning are two of our faves.

Caleb (5) started Kindergarten and really enjoys art such as coloring and drawing. He loves playing at the beach with big brother and swimming in the ocean with dad.

Aiden (8) is doing a great job in 2nd Grade and pursuing some hobbies such as playing chess and bird watching. He is looking forward to playing baseball again and was stoked to catch his first real wave on a bogey board!

For Jen, it has been a very prayer-filled and peaceful year. She added stand-up paddle boarding in the Newport channel to her recreational activities. She continues to be grateful to fulfill her purpose as a military spouse, mom and businesswomen.

Jason initially continued some of his fun work travels–adding Finland, England, Portugal and Israel to the list before that endeavor came to a halt. He has really enjoyed getting back on the surfboard and even snuck in a day of 15’+ bodysurfing at The Wedge. Swimming and mountain biking are two fun activities he has added to his workout routine and……let’s just say….he has THE antibodies. 🙂

We wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and hope you have a wonderful farewell party to 2020…

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord….
